2019 ANNUAL RETREAT REGISTRATION

The ASTRO 3D Annual Retreat is open to all members and we encourage everyone to join us. The Annual Retreat is designed to be a strategic planning event – it will include Project/Survey updates, training and lots of sessions for cross-project collaboration planning.

WHEN: MONDAY 11 NOVEMBER – THURSDAY 14 NOVEMBER

WHERE: RACV GOLDFIELDS RESORT, BALLARAT

This year our retreat is located at the RACV Goldfields Resort situated in the minerals springs area of Daylesford, Victoria. It is situated approximately 120km from Melbourne Airport (around 1 hour 20 minutes drive). The ASTRO 3D Retreat is an opportunity for the ASTRO 3D community to come together, celebrate and share the Centre’s achievements and research from the previous year, as well as discuss the vision and goals for the next year.

The Retreat will take place during the week of 11-15 November as follows:

  • Postdocs/Students/ECR Monday 11 November (with dinner on Sunday night)
  • Main Retreat – 9:00am (AWST) Tuesday 12 November – 2:30pm (AWST) Thursday 14 November (with a welcome BBQ dinner on Monday night)

The Resort is set in historic bushland around Creswick. You will awake to forest or fairway views and the sounds of the Australian bush. Golf, spa facilities, indoor swimming pool and spa, fitness centre, tennis court, playground, mountain biking and walking tracks are all found at the Resort.

The local area provides Hepburn Springs, Ballarat and Sovereign Hill historical village, Kryal Castle and much more.
