Biography

I have years of experience in the analysis of complex datasets ranging from satellite imagery data in the field of remote sensing, material science and thermoluminescence and now radio astronomy data. I am strongly skilled in prediction and quantitative research specifically interested in the use of statistical and computational methods to get the utmost information from data. My core competencies include data modelling, data analysis and visualisation as well as precise results communication. My PhD research is focused on identifying and mitigating ionospheric effects in the data observed by the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) for the Epoch of Reionisation (EoR) experiment. I hold a masters of science degree whose focus was on conducting all-sky survey observations using the Precision Array to Probe the Epoch of Reionisation (PAPER) telescope.
