Biography

Ken Freeman is Duffield Professor of Astronomy at the ANU (Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics). He was one of the first to point out that spiral galaxies contain a large fraction of dark matter. He was much involved in the HERMES instrument on the AAT, and is a co-founder of the GALAH project.
