Biography

As an ASTRO-3D research fellow on first galaxies at the University of Melbourne I am involved in three seperate JWST programmes; GLASS-ERS, JADES-GTO and PASSAGE-GO. These utilise various combinations of the NIRSpec Multi-object spectroscopy, NIRCam direct imaging and NIRISS slitless spectroscopy to answer questions about galaxy evolution with a focus on the high-redshift Universe. My particular scientific focus marries up with the research group at the University of Melbourne and across the ASTRO-3D network, and includes the study of high-redshift UV Luminosity functions to understand the scatter in the Luminosity-Halo Mass relation, the evolution of the abundance of extreme emission line galaxies with redshift and the identification high-redshift galaxies through Lyman-break drop out in slitless spectroscopy. I have recently completed my DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford.
