Biography

I extract accurate insights into galaxy formation physics by comparing realistic mock catalogues to large samples of observed galaxies. My research is at the intersection of Astrophysics, Computer Science and Statistics. I am a strong proponent of open research, and I am involved with a variety of national and international initiatives related to research software. I am the Chair of the Research Software Engineers Chapter (Australia & New Zealand), the Early- and Mid-Career Forum representative for the National Committee for Astronomy (NCA), and the immediate past Chair of the Early Career Researcher Chapter of the Astronomical Society of Australia (ASA).
