Biography

The focus of my work is to understand the formation and evolution of galaxies by studying their kinematics. I use integral field unit (IFU) observations in the infrared and optical and radio/submillimeter observations to probe the ionised and molecular gas at redshift z=0.5-3.5. I also work with lensed galaxies to get better spatial resolution and detect fainter objects (low-mass galaxies) and with low-redshift turbulent, clumpy disk galaxies considered analogues to high-redshift galaxies (the DYNAMO sample).
