Biography

Michael Brown is an observational astronomer best known for his measurements of the multi-wavelength spectral energy distributions of galaxies and his research on the slow growth of massive galaxies. Using new astronomical surveys, including those by the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP), he plans to measure the relationships between stellar mass, star formation, gas and dark matter.
