Biography

I am a Ph.D. student working with Prof. Lister Staveley-Smith at ICRAR/UWA. My research focuses on the HI kinematics of nearby galaxies. My first Ph.D. project is to investigate the Tully-Fisher relation using large HI galaxy samples obtained from ASKAP WALLABY. Prior to this, I earned a Master's degree from Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea. My master's research project focused on HI profile analysis of the Large Magellanic Cloud. Additionally, during my master's degree, I contributed to the development of the kinematics pipeline for the ASKAP WALLABY as an official member of WALLABY Technical Working Group 5 (TWG 5). These experiences have inspired me to pursue doctoral research at ICRAR/UWA.
