Biography
One of the most uncertain aspects of our understanding of the endpoint of stellar evolution is link between the progenitor star, the resulting supernova (SN) type and the formation of compact objects, such as neutron stars and black holes. My research aims to better quantify the outcomes of stellar collapse and compact object formation rates by studying supernova remnants (SNRs) in the Magellanic Clouds (MCs).
