Biography

With over 9 years of experience in science communication, I am passionate about bridging the gap between science and society, promoting evidence-based decision making, and amplifying diverse voices in science. I am the Founder and Director of my own consultancy, as well as the Media Director at Science in Public, a boutique science communication and PR agency. In my dual roles, I work with a range of clients and projects, from developing media strategies and training programs, to producing videos and podcasts, to organising events and campaigns. I also co-lead the Australian Science Communicators, the peak body for science communication professionals in Australia, where I am involved in scoping and developing working groups and governance structures to strengthen the ASC for future resilience, relevance, and influence. I have a PhD in Chemistry from the Australian National University, where I also completed a Master of Science Communication Outreach. I have published multiple papers in international journals and received several honors and scholarships for my academic achievements. I am currently based in Australia and open to opportunities for projects in the UK and Europe.
