Biography

The two primary methods for measuring the chemical content (gas-phase metallicity) of galaxies can disagree by a very large amount when compared. Using spatially resolved observations of star-forming regions in nearby galaxies, and later gravitationally lensed galaxies in the distant universe, I aim to produce updated models of these methods and develop ways to re-calibrate them to agree in both local and far-universe galaxies.
