Biography

I am an international PhD student at ICRAR (UWA node) from Spain. I will study the passive massive galaxies at high redshift, which have been recently confirmed to be a non-scarce population by the JWST. Making use of models of galaxy formation and evolution (computational tools), such as SAMs (Semi Analytic Models) or hydrodynamical simulations I will carry out an analysis of these galaxies: their environment, the haloes where they live, their assembly, evolution, possible mergers, connection to quasars or sub-millimeter galaxies... I will compare the results from the different models, as well as comparing to observational data.
