Biography

In galaxies, supernovae and radiation from massive young stars contribute energy to the surrounding gas. This affects the formation of future generations of stars. However, we don't understand the details of how this process (star formation feedback) works. Some of the gas gets kicked out of the galaxy altogether in star formation driven outflows. Using data from KCWI/Keck, I am studying these outflows to better understand the driving mechanisms of the feedback behind them.
