Biography
My name is Chien-Chang Ho. People call me Simon. Therefore, I use Simon C.-C. Ho in my publication. I am a half Taiwanese and half Hong Konger. Currently, I am a PhD student at the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Australian National University. I am interested in the research of Fast Radio Burst (FRBs). FRBs are mysterious millisecond radio signals. It is said that these radio bursts are like radio fireworks from the deep Universe. My current projects focus on studying the origin of FRB by searching for their multi-wavelength counterparts and follow-up observation of their host galaxies. I also use FRBs as cosmic probes to unravel the mysterious dark matter and dark energy.
