Biography

25 years ago, I did my PhD at MPIA Heidelberg in Germany. I spent over a decade in Oxford and now over a decade at ANU. I was PI of the COMBO-17 survey for galaxy and quasar evolution. During my time at ANU, I led the SkyMapper Southern Survey. I was a member of the ARC CoEs CAASTRO and OzGrav. My current science interests focus on bright quasars as well as low-luminosity AGN.
