Biography

Kirsten Banks is a Scientia PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales. Her research involves studying stars in the Milky Way galaxy to better understand its formation and evolution. Her passion for the stars began at a young age and she loves to share her passion as an avid Science Communicator both in the media and through public seminars and talks. Kirsten is also well known for her short and quirky TikTok videos about space and science, making space accessible to a global audience.
