Stars are perfect spherical resonators (similar to bells) and by studying these vibrations, we can learn a lot about their stellar characteristics and interiors. This is called asteroseismology and I am interested in studying these oscillations to discover more about stellar evolution and globular cluster evolution. I also aim to couple this study with spectroscopic measurements. Later in my PhD, I also hope to combine asteroseismology and spectroscopy to study Lithium rich stars.
