Biography

Maksym Mohorian is pursuing a PhD at Macquarie University in the research group of Dr. Devika Kamath. His study is focused on understanding how low- and intermediate-mass stars enrich the Universe, particularly by deriving isotopic ratios of elements such as C, N, O, etc., from exquisite tracers: post-AGB stars. For his current research, he uses optical/near-IR/IR spectroscopic techniques from astronomical infrastructure such as AAT, VLT, and also large-scale surveys like APOGEE.
