Biography

We congratulate Dr. Melanie #Kaasinen for successfully defending her #PhD thesis titled "The Properties of the Cold Interstellar Medium in High-redshift Galaxies". She has been working under the supervision of Prof. Simon Glover (ZAH Universität Heidelberg) and Dr. Fabian Walter (MPIA). As of October, she will work as an ESO Astronomy Fellow in #Garching. By employing the Observatorio ALMA, Dr. Kaasinen will investigate the distribution of cold gas in the early universe and its role in forming stars. We wish her much success!
