Biography

Piyush is an AGRTP scholar at the Australian National University, where he works on the formation of the first stars as a part of his PhD. Specifically, his research focuses on how magnetic fields and turbulence can alter the entire first star formation episode, and ultimately impact the initial mass function (IMF) of the first stars. Piyush is also a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS) and holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics and a master's degree in Physics.
