Biography

My Name is Rory Elliott. I am an honors student currently studying at Swinburne University of Technology. My main interest in astronomy is researching into the evolution of large galactic structures, and understanding how the universe has gradually changed since its inception. Most recently, my research has been focused on a distant collisional ring galaxy called R5519: being found at such a distant redshift, I believe that this galaxy may be an important object to study in understanding the onset of thin disk formation in the early universe.
