Biography

Suk Yee is a Machine Learning (ML) Specialist at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). Prior to this position, Suk Yee was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Data Intensive Astronomy at Macquarie University and was a Early Research Career Postdoctoral Fellow in the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Future Science Platform and Space and Astronomy at CSIRO. Suk Yee was awarded a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Melbourne. I have a broad interest in quasars, black holes, search for extraterrestrial intelligence, and radio transients. In particular, mainly working with big data and employing data science and machine learning methods to extract meaningful information from the data.
