Biography
Warrick's principal research area is extragalactic astronomy and cosmology, with a particular focus on the role environment plays in the evolution of galaxies. This research involves major observational programs using the largest ground-based optical-infrared telescopes, as well as space-based telescopes. A key tool here is integral field unit (IFU) spectroscopy and the use of the multi-deployable SAMI and HECTOR systems on the AAT. He also has a strong interest in large-scale galaxy structure and clustering, and its use as a cosmological probe.
